XSEED Brings “Ivy the Kiwi?” to N.A.

You remember Prope, right?  Yuji Naka’s new studio that developed everyone’s favorite cardboard-controlled game, Let’s Tap.  A few weeks ago, Naka’s latest creation, the storybook-styled “Ivy the Kiwi?” was released for Wii and DS in Japan, interestingly published by Namco-Bandai.  Funny enough, the game is coming to America via a completely different publisher.

XSEED, a publisher well known for bringing unusual or low-key Japanese games to the U.S. such as Retro Game Challenge and Little King Story, has announced that it will be localizing the Kirby’s Canvas Curse-esque download game to Nintendo systems this Summer with promises of 100 levels and 4-person multiplayer via split screen or single-card DS download.  There’s no announced price yet, but the Japanese price sits at 1000 points on either system, or $10.

Thanks to GoNintendo for the heads-up.

  1. Speaking of kiwis, they’re not that obscure in games. I even happen to own a good iPod Touch game called “Fly, Kiwi, Fly!”

  2. The style appears appealing to me. I’m going to keep my eye on it.

  3. I’m not interested at all.If it does’nt include Knuckles, meh,I’ll pass. The only good thing other than Sonic that Sega made was Nights.Enough said.
