L.R.P. Special: Fan Characters

With our end-of-the-month special on fan characters coming up, I just wanted to establish a few ground rules on submissions.

Yes, I do want you to send in your fan character pictures. Since you can’t post them in the comments, you will have to send them via e-mail to thespindashATgmailDOTcom.

I will only accept JPG, GIF, and PNG formats, and keep the size under 400×400 pixels. I’m probably going to resize or edit things anyway to make it manageable.

If your character is just a re-skinned game sprite or a sprite of any kind, it will not be accepted.

If your character is a poorly edited piece of official Sonic character art, it will not be accepted.

If it looks like it took two seconds to make in MS Paint, it will not be accepted.

Let’s keep quality standards up and my blood pressure down. I’m not your mum, I’m not going to hang it on the fridge with a magnet, and I don’t care if I hurt your feelings.

You may include his or her name and a brief biography that my NOT include any love interests with existing Sonic characters. You’re limited to 100 words per biography, so use them wisely.

You may submit up to three fan characters assuming that they all follow the established rules.

Please don’t allow me to regret this, so please follow the rules, use good judgment, and have fun.

You must send your submissions by 12:00 AM on May 2, 2009. Late entries will not be accepted.
