The Spindash got through Act 54

It’s hard for me to add anything post-podcast about Generations, as I am totally full-force excitement on Zelda at the moment.  I’m still frustrated that it isn’t Sunday yet.  Why am I not playing that game right this second?  SERIOUSLY, WHY?!?

Avid listeners of the show know I love discussing a good rumor, yet this whole “Sonic Dimensions” thing just hasn’t lit my fire.  Perhaps its the origin of the rumor, but it’s most likely that we are at a point where there are too many Sonic games coming out in too short a time span.  Seriously consider this: there are five Sonic games coming out in what is roughly a three month time period while the rest of the industry is busy releasing a unstoppable torrent of blockbusters.  By now, Sonic Generations HD is out, as is Mario & Sonic London; Generations 3DS releases within days, and M&S London 3DS is set for February.  Heck, we’ve even got the Tails-infused port of Sonic CD expected within a month!

Poor scheduling aside, I will warn you that we won’t be covering Mario & Sonic London for a while.  Among all the huge releases this quarter, I’ve only been able to set aside the funds for three: Generations HD, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (only because I could cut the price in half by trading in the first version), and Skyward Sword.  If I’m lucky enough to have my local Redbox carry it, then I’ll try to do a rental, but I’m not making any promises.

Otherwise, have a great Thanksgiving, don’t forget to catch Sonic in this year’s Macy’s Parade, and look forward to hearing from us again when we’re waste deep in leftovers!

Great podcast guys! Always love to hear Ray on the show.
    Comic: Abstruse Goose. Hilarious.
Agree with the Casino Nights bit; dislike the original, but the Generations mix is the biggest improvement.
I haven’t actually played the game yet, but as a rabid Sonic Adventure fan, I’m excited that Ray thought so highly of Speed Highway AND Perfect Chaos : )
My favourite song (I’ve listened to all but a select unspoiled few) is Chemical Plant modern; that song frickin’ ROCKS.
Frustrating that the final boss sucks, though; you’d think that with all these re-used resources and ideas, they’d at least be able to come up with a single wholly new boss.
Stage variety should have been better; Scrap Brain or Final Egg would have worked, and anything from the Advance series would have been a winner.
Also, Ray’s plot idea is great, EXCEPT that there should be some characters who do die as characters. I WANNA SEE BIG THE CAT PAINFULLY DIE!!! And while we’re at it, can we just say that Shadow’s actually been a robot since the end of Sonic Adventure 2? You know, that game where, at the end, HE DIED?!?!

I second the Shadow-robot thing. I thought it made his character slightly more interesting when you went down that path in Shadow.

Great podcast Guys. The thought of the return of Yuki sounds awesome, I can’t wait to hear her say a total of 20 words the entire podcast!!! I can imagine how that would turn out. The sonic Generations boss looked cringe worthy, although I haven’t played it. Man…I also checked out marble hornets a while ago and kinda lost interest near the end and never watched them again.

Since I can’t seem to find GX’s email, nor a forum post for homework assignment, I shall post my homework submission here.

Webcomics, I have 2 that might suit you.

    1. Sonic and Pals.
(At the time I was submitting, the site happens to be down)

One of the biggest web sprite comic out there, decent story and puns, it’s worth a look. Has ended for a year.

    2. The After Subtract,

Another sprite comic, full of epic moment of awesome, just ended, and has a sequel just begin called “adding zero”

You -do- realize that I list the e-mail address at the end of every show, right?

Actually, I DON’T know anything about that.
